Food: Melanie is still an eater. She has just recently started to show preference for one type of food or another. She will turn her head to refuse if it's not something she wants to eat. She would them whine until she got what she wanted. The whining was getting a little old, so we started sign language. She caught on really quickly, so now we don't have to hear the whining.

 

Sleep: Still sleeping through the night (12-13 hours) and two naps a day.

-Playing "Peek"

Mel dislikes:
-When she wants Mommy to pick her up and I can't
-Being tired
-Not getting to eat off Mommy or Daddy's plate (even though it's the same thing she has on her tray)



 

New adventures:




-First conscious airplane ride: She had a great time lounging on BB's lap, munching on some snacks and watching Bubble Guppies

 

-Climbing

-Signing: We are experts at 'please', 'more', and 'all done'

-Pointing

 

-Size 4 diapers and 18 Month clothes

-Current vocabulary:

Food: Melanie loves it all! There's a reason we've been in the upper 90s in weight percentile her whole life. Go Go Squeeze is what Mel consistently goes crazy for.
