Reed - 1 Week

 

 

 

Height:  22 inches 

Weight:  6 lb. 4 oz. (lost 4 ounces and was back to birth weigh in 5 days! This kid is an eater!)

Hair: Brown

Eyes: Blue
 

Food: Breastfed every 2 hours, but we did a bottle or two of formula to get some wet diapers going. Not sure it helped.

 

Sleep: Takes hour and a half naps about every hour and a half. Nighttime is rough because he wants to be held to sleep. Zzzzz. We are taking turns with night shifts so at least someone gets a little sleep.

 

Temperament: He's happy when he gets to eat and sleep.  




Reed loves:

-Being held

New adventures:
=A baby!!

In the hospital with mommy

=Our first trip home! He cried the whole time.

=First trip to the doctor: It was a much better ride when he had his soothie.

 





 

 

= First outing (besides the doctor visit): We spent July 4th at Wes' parent's house. It was good to get out of the house for a while and know we could do it with a baby.

 =First time in his cradle: Wes' grandfather made this and it was finished by his other grandfather. Wes and his sister slept in here as tiny babies. Sweet history.

 =First bath at home! He HATES baths.

 





 

We are SO in love and blessed to have Reed in our family. We can't wait for all the adventures we will have!
