Awesome Birthday Present

My birthday was last month, which was very fun. I LOVE my birthday. Probably in an unhealthy way, but I still love it WAY more than I should. And it's the day after Valentine's Day. No pressure for my husband.

Anyway, this year was a big one, and we had a great time. Party, fajitas, Wii, we are carazy people! It wasn't until about 2 weeks after my birthday that I began worrying about my present. (the lack of it) I asked, and poked, and prodded, and annoyed, but hubby wouldn't give it up or explain why I didn't have it yet.

Then last week, here it came!!

WOW! I have seriously been wanting this framed FOREVER!! Like, almost 10 years. It is really beautifully done. The picture doesn't do it justice. And it's a little bigger than you think. Almost 4 feet tall.

So, what the heck is this thing!? My absolute pride and joy from the fall of '04. My Drum Major mace.

So, my husband is a total rock star for having the idea and for executing. We are in the process of hanging it now. SO EXCITED!!
